Agyapa is a pure play gold royalty company with a high-quality portfolio comprising of 12 producing and four development assets in Ghana. It is currently owned by the Ghanaian Government via the Minerals Income Investment Fund, which was created by the Government with the objective of maximising the value of the country’s mineral wealth for the benefit of the Ghanaian citizens and to monetise the minerals income in a sustainable and responsible manner.
The logo reinterprets the widely recognised black star of Ghana which is combined with an equally robust typemark; imagery and colours are rich and earthy, reflective of their African inspiration. On the website’s home page, the brand’s purpose is spelled out in the opening statement “Respect the Land”.
Extending the innovative nature of the initiative, the website uses a modular approach to the home page content using richly coloured tiles to build navigational elements. This creates a functional and adaptable framework to which further elements can be easily added, while aesthetically allowing for imagery that reinforces the company’s Ghanaian concerns and history.
